Horseheads, NY (December 4, 2018). Silicon Carbide Products, Inc. (SCP), an industry leader in custom manufactured silicon carbide components, has released SCProbond™ WRC, an easy-to-mix, trowel-on wear compound. SCProbond™ WRC is specifically designed as an easy-to-mix and apply wear liner with excellent adhesion qualities, and it resists sliding abrasion.

This product brings a lower cost, trowel-on wear solution to our product lineup while incorporating silicon carbide grains for an added premium protection against sliding abrasion. These two-part epoxies are easy to mix, easy to spread, and provide a functionally cured bond in only 7 hours, getting our customers back up and running quickly.

Rick Cleveland, Marketing and Business Development Executive
