Accessibility Statement
Effective Date: September 13, 2026
Silicon Carbide Products, LLC ("SCP") is committed to providing an accessible and inclusive experience for all visitors, including people with disabilities.
We are actively incorporating accessibility into the design, development, content, and ongoing maintenance of our website. Our goal is to make the SCP website conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA to the extent reasonably practicable.
We recognize that accessibility is an ongoing process and that even with careful design and testing, some barriers may remain. We welcome feedback and are committed to making reasonable efforts to address accessibility concerns when they are brought to our attention.
1. Our Accessibility Approach
SCP considers the four core principles of WCAG, commonly referred to by the acronym POUR:
-
Perceivable: Information and user interface components should be presented in ways that users can perceive, including through appropriate text alternatives and sufficient visual contrast.
-
Operable: Website navigation and interactive features should be usable through appropriate methods, including keyboard navigation where applicable.
-
Understandable: Information and website functionality should be presented in a clear and predictable manner.
-
Robust: Website content should be developed using practices that support compatibility with a variety of browsers, devices, and assistive technologies.
As part of our ongoing accessibility efforts, SCP is working to:
-
Provide meaningful alternative text for relevant images
-
Maintain sufficient contrast between text and backgrounds
-
Use readable typography and appropriate text sizing
-
Use clear headings and logical page structure
-
Provide descriptive link and button text
-
Support keyboard navigation where applicable
-
Design forms and interactive elements with accessibility in mind
-
Avoid unnecessary flashing, strobing, or rapidly changing visual content
-
Consider accessibility when adding or changing website content and functionality
-
Use available accessibility testing and evaluation tools
-
Conduct reasonable manual review in addition to automated testing
-
Address accessibility barriers that are identified through testing or visitor feedback
2. Accessibility Standards
SCP uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 as a reference for the design and maintenance of this website, with a goal of achieving Level AA conformance.
Accessibility tools and automated testing are valuable resources, but they cannot identify every possible accessibility barrier. For that reason, SCP combines available automated testing with manual review and ongoing attention to accessibility as the website develops.
We do not represent that every part of the website is currently perfect or that every visitor will have an identical experience. Instead, we are committed to continually improving accessibility and responding when barriers are identified.
3. Third-Party Content
The SCP website may contain links to or content associated with third-party websites and platforms, including LinkedIn, YouTube, and other external services.
SCP does not control the accessibility of third-party websites or platforms. If you encounter an accessibility barrier on a third-party website, we encourage you to contact that provider directly.
4. Accessibility Assistance and Feedback
If you experience difficulty accessing information or using any part of the SCP website, please let us know.
When contacting us, please provide the website page or feature involved and, if possible, a brief description of the accessibility barrier you encountered. SCP will review the concern and make reasonable efforts to identify an appropriate solution or alternative way to provide access to the requested information.
We also welcome suggestions that may help us make the website more accessible. Our goal is not simply to identify problems through testing, but to learn from visitors and improve the experience where reasonably possible.
5. In-Person Accessibility and Accommodations
SCP is also committed to providing an accessible experience for visitors who come to our facilities.
If you plan to visit SCP and require an accommodation or have accessibility needs that would make your visit easier or more accessible, we encourage you to contact us in advance of your visit.
A member of the SCP team will review your request and get back to you to discuss your needs and determine how we can best assist you.
Providing advance notice allows our team to better prepare for your visit and identify reasonable accommodations or other assistance that may be available.
6. Ongoing Improvements
Accessibility is an ongoing process. As the SCP website and business evolve, we will continue to review our content, design, functionality, and user experience with accessibility in mind.
We understand that no accessibility program or website is necessarily perfect. If something is difficult to access or use, we want to know about it. Feedback from visitors helps us identify issues that automated testing or internal review may not reveal and gives us an opportunity to improve.
