High Temperatures- Good Wear Resistance
Typical  Applications

SCP custom manufactures SCProbond™ C, which is a fine-grained, Composite Bonded Silicon Carbide material used in foundries  and high temperature processing applications requiring good thermal shock, corrosion resistance and high strength.

This material exhibits excellent high temperature properties and is used in  environments including:

(Non-ferrous) molten metal contact applications, graphite protection liners, thermocouple protection tubes, support beams, crucibles, trays, rotors and other foundry applications.

Uniform wall thickness from 0.125" to 0.400".

We also manufacture SCProbondN, silicon nitride bonded silicon carbide for thicker cross sections and improved wear resistance in limited high  temperature applications including immersion tubes.
